Community standards
Joining means agreeing to these. Moderators enforce them, and serious or repeated breaches end membership.
Members are employer-side practitioners
Full membership is for people who own or support employee benefits inside an employer: benefits, total rewards, wellbeing, leave and disability, retirement, and benefits administration teams. Verified public-sector and nonprofit employer teams are welcome.
No selling, ever
No pitches, no product promotion, no lead generation, no unsolicited direct messages, no recruiting members as prospects. This applies in posts, comments, chat, events and profiles.
No exporting or scraping
The directory and member details exist so peers can find each other. Bulk collection, scraping, exporting or reuse of member data for outreach or commercial lists is prohibited and grounds for removal.
Speak as a peer, not for your employer
Share what you have learned, not your employer's confidential or legally privileged information. Do not present your views as an official position of your organisation.
Protect confidence
What members share here stays here. Do not republish member content, screenshots or identities outside the community.
Nothing here is legal, tax or medical advice
Discussions and resources are peer experience and editorial material. Always confirm with your own counsel and advisers before acting.
Vendor talk is peer review, not promotion
Discussing vendor experience is encouraged. Marketing a vendor, including your own employer's product, is not.
Coffee chats are conversations, not pitches
Coffee chats and meetups are opt-in and for peer conversation only. Send a short, specific invitation; accept a decline gracefully; never use an accepted chat to sell, recruit clients or collect contacts. Meet in public places, share only the location detail you are comfortable with, and block or report anyone who makes you uncomfortable.
Profiles are real and respectful
Profile photos should be a reasonable likeness or neutral image, with no logos you are not authorised to use, no promotional content and nothing offensive. Location and coverage details are optional and are never to be used to track or contact someone off-platform without their agreement.
Disagree generously
Assume competence and good intent. Challenge ideas, not people. Moderators may remove content and suspend accounts without notice.
Non-solicitation, in plain terms
No pitches. No unsolicited direct messages. No lead generation. No collecting, exporting or scraping the member directory or member contact details. No using anything you learn here as a prospecting list. This holds whether or not you are an eligible member.
